Dan Kramer, originally from South Africa, studied accounting and marketing at the University of Colorado after which he returned home to work in his family's business to gain some real world experience. Due to his desire to do something intellectually challenging and because his home town Johannesburg was not the safest place to be, he decided to study law at the University of Denver. From there he went to San Francisco where he started to work as an attorney in the real estate field, not knowing that he eventually would be pushed into working in the niche market of alcoholic beverage law. Make sure to watch until the end, as he gives some great advice for those who want to become lawyers and also for those choosing a different career.
