Anita, originally from Sweden, started out learning about and collecting contemporary art before she discovered tribal art, which became her passion for life. She has shown her collection in many exhibitions, especially in Asia. She is one of very few women in this male dominated industry. Her many years of experience has resulted in in-depth knowledge and the ability to evaluate the different qualities of tribal and oceanic art pieces. Through this she has gained respect within the tribal and oceanic art community. Currently she lives and works in Munich, Germany. I think the advice Anita gives is relevant for all people, not just those starting their working career. Having basic knowledge in many different areas such as art, music, literature and politics, combined with good manners is key to presenting oneself well in any kind of social situation.
